Уколико желите да имате делиће траке освештане на Светом појасу Мајке Божије, који је недавно био у Србији, дођите у недељу, 12. јула, на Празник Светих Апостола Петра и Павла, на Свету Литургију која почиње у 9.30 ч.

Молимо вас да дођете на време јер ће се трака сећи на онолико делова колико је вас присутно на Литургији. Након Литургије, о. Исајло ће поделити део траке на благослов и објаснити како ћете је користити.

Током боравка Појаса Мајке Божије у Србији, светињи се поклонило више од 1,5 милиона верника из читавог света. Људи су долазили из Америке, Аустралије, Азије, Русије, из свих европских земаља, са читавог Балкана и из Јужне Африке.

Верници су чекали и по 15 ч. да би само једну секунду целивали Појас Мајке Божије и примили благослов. Било је тих дана понос бити Србин и православни хришћанин, што би требало увек и остати.

Благослов Мајке Божије је да и ми у Јоханесбургу имамо прилику да учествујемо у том задивљујућем догађају.

Зато пођимо у нашу Цркву Светог Томе и узмимо благослов Мајке Божије за нас и наше најмилије.

If you would like to have a piece of the ribbon consecrated on the Holy Belt of the Mother of God, which was recently in Serbia, come to the Divine Liturgy on Sunday, July 12, on the Feast of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, which begins at 9:30 a.m.

We ask that you arrive on time because the ribbon will be cut into as many pieces as there are people present at the Liturgy. After the Liturgy, Father Isajlo will give you a piece of the ribbon as a blessing and explain how you should use it.

During the stay of the Holy Belt of the Mother of God in Serbia, more than 1.5 million believers from all over the world paid homage to the shrine. People came from America, Australia, Asia, Russia, from all European countries, from all over the Balkans, and from South Africa.

Believers waited for up to 15 hours to kiss the Belt of the Mother of God for just one second and receive a blessing. In those days, it was an honour to be a Serb and an Orthodox Christian, which should always remain so.

The blessing of the Mother of God is that we in Johannesburg have the opportunity to participate in that amazing event.

Therefore, let us go to our Church of St. Thomas and receive the blessing of the Mother of God for ourselves and our loved ones.
